Great food and great atmosphere, another one of my favorite places to eat when I'm able to come back to Sanford, kitchen is ridiculously good at what they do❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've eaten in and ordered take-out from this restaurant dozens of times and it is consistently wonderful! The Apple Pecan Salad with grilled chicken is one of my all-time favorite salads. I highly recommend this Sanford gem!

The old fashioned Cherry Coke is awesome! Fried pickles are amazing ! I love the chicken salad!! And the fried chicken special is another favorite. We are from NJ and miss our diners so this is a great lil welcoming spot for us. Family friendly ! And nice staff!

I have not been here since I was a kid however I'm going to have to start coming more often. The menu selection offers a wide variety and I had a hard time making a decision. The servers were polite, courteous, and on top if things. The food was delicious as well. I had the grilled salmon patties.

For being in a small town, this restaurant is a silent gem that only locals know about, but that is ok, it is always packed... the food is tasty and the servers are super friendly and great customer service. Never had a bad experience here.

Food was good. Service was quick (even for a Friday lunch.) Reasonably priced. Very large selection of food on the menu from salads, ro burgers and sandwiches to homestyle meals. Also good selection of ice cream in the freezer.

I haven't been here in about 10 years, so I was delighted to see the renovations, which look amazing! Service was great and the vegetable soup was just as delicious as I remember!

We waited weeks to come here and were very excited. I ordered a bacon avocado burger. As you can see in the picture it was not a good piece of avocado which disappointed me a bit, but the sandwich still tasted good. We got a chef salad was amazing, but make sure you get extra ranch as it’s a huge salad. Over all the food is extremely good, I will go back before too long and give an update.

Went there only for dessert. Ordered brownie boat and it was huge! Easily could feed two. Take a date and share!

My family absolutely loves Fairview Dairy Bar. They offer friendly and wonderful service, great menu choices and delicious food.

I was visiting family in Sanford and was recommended to eat here by family member. Was recommended one of the best places to eat breakfast.And yes I did have some ice cream for breakfast :)Pros: High quality food and honestly really cheap prices. If it is definitely worse more than as listed on the menus. Staff was amazing. Good location especially for parking and commuting.Cons: Honestly nothing for me to critique.Highly recommend to friends and family and for breakfast place if you are in that area. Definitely worth the money.Again if you are in the area please support your local economy and have breakfast here.

The kids are always happy to go here for ice cream. Best bang for the buck when grabbing cold dessert in the area. Will be back again soon.

One of the better diners in the state! Prices are quite reasonable and the food is good. I felt like the service was also good. I had the hamburger steak and thought that is was tasty. If you're looking for diner food while in the Sanford area, I'd recommend giving this place a shot!

I got a burger and fry, my wife a bacon and cheese fry. We both had water to drink. The bill was over $15! The burger and fry was on the menu for $5.99. The burger was a 5 out of 10 at best. Both of our fries were only 3/4 cooked and were tasteless. Waitress NEVER came back to check on us. I was on my way to the register to let them know what we had when she chased me down. Now, when a customer is paying the bill, do not ask, "how was everything?" if the response doesn't mean $#!+ to your establishment! I told the girl the issue and her response was the total for the bill. Not I'm sorry, let me adjust your total. Just essentially, pay and get the He!! out. Oh, prices are ridiculous.

I called just a few minutes to get a to go order delivered to our place of business. We were told we were outside the box area. I asked how many miles were in the box area and I was told " I do not know, we have to go back this box area" I looked up your address and our address and we are 3 minutes away. We were 1.5 miles away from the dairy bar. We were trying to support a local business, and could not even order for delivery that less than 2 miles from your location. I could see over 5 miles i do understand but less than 2 seriously? . Please explain to me what box area you serve? Thank you

Fairview Dairy Bar has a down home feel to it. Charming ambiance, exceptional service, and delicious food. I make it a point to eat here every time I’m in Sanford, visiting.

It's ok could've have had nicer attitude from the server, also could have had faster timing on getting orders in and out and asking how me and my family were doing. Making sure the food was good or if we need anything else other than the bill.

We love the atmosphere and the food. The service is always so nice and helpful. It's great sitting down to a home cooked meal that you don't have to make yourself.

Friendly, fast service. Good food, yummy pancakes... Prices cant be beat. Love the counter, the photos, and the nostalgia.

Food was very good(breakfast). Service was good considering how full the restaurant was at the time. Our waitress was very friendly which almost makes up for the rude one I first encountered. The restaurant was full, I was standing next to the seat yourself sign waiting for an available table. The rude waitress did not greet me when walking towards me, instead she walks past me and asks me to please move. She proceeded to tirn the sign from please seat yourself to please wait to be seated.I have managed restaurants and would not tolerate an employee not greeting a customer.Once again our waitress was very friendly and competent. Had she not been, I would cross this restaurant off my list of places to eat.Only my second time there.

Awesome place! I've lived in the area for a decade and somehow overlooked this place. Burger was great as well as the strawberry shortcake ice cream. I will definitely be back!

The fried cauliflower was excellent. The ranch dressing is house made and the best I have had in years. The cheeseburger was great. The fried okra was alright, not great. The peanut butter pie was wonderful.Our waitress was quick, witty and fun. I had picked at her from the get go and she laughed at me every time. I asked her who I needed to talk to about complaining about her and she said " no one".

The food is always good, and the service is usually pretty good. I need to hire some more folks to help check people out, but it's a great place to eat. I've had The BLT and their fried chicken, and both are excellent. I've also had the pot roast, which is really good as well.

The food is down home cooking and amazing!! Prices are super affordable and the portions exceed any expectations. You will not be disappointed

If you are visiting Sanford, this is the place to stop for lunch. It is a classic American neighborhood diner with a friendly staff and a menu that includes all the basics with just enough contemporary additions to make it interesting. The coffee has that old school just-a-little-too-long-on-the-hotplate taste that will bring back memories. Consider ordering the smaller burger so that you will have room to try their impressive selection of ice cream.
